The Blackwood Concrete Sleeper has a rich charcoal colour with a smooth face finish, similar to our classic grey concrete colour Lonsdale Sleeper. It’s a perfect choice if you want a simple finish but with a darker colour to match your project.

The Blackwood sleeper has been designed to be a perfect match for many modern newly built homes that are using the popular charcoal bricks. The sleepers smooth finish make it the ideal starting point for any landscape design where a more straightforward style is required.

Our modern manufacturing techniques allow us to provide customers with sleepers that use industry-leading 60MPa concrete. They easily surpass the Australian standard and the strength of our competitors’ products, making them the most durable retaining wall concrete sleepers on the market.

To further enhance the structural strength of your retaining wall, all of our sleepers are reinforced with 2 x N10 reo steel bars*.

All Outback Sleepers Australia products are manufactured at our South Australian factory. To ensure they consistently meet our high standards of quality, we have our concrete batches independently tested twice per week.
