The Lonsdale Concrete Sleeper is our original natural grey concrete sleeper that comes with a smooth surface finish. Our Lonsdale sleeper is used extensively for both small landscaping projects all the way through to large scale civil and commercial projects.

The Lonsdale is extremely versatile and for many projects will be the perfect high quality, great value solution. In particular it is ideal for projects that do not require the retaining wall to have a feature pattern and having a simple strong retaining wall structure is the priority.

Our modern manufacturing techniques allow us to provide customers with sleepers that use industry-leading 60MPa concrete. They easily surpass the Australian standard and the strength of our competitors’ products, making them the most durable retaining wall concrete sleepers on the market.

To further enhance the structural strength of your retaining wall, all of our sleepers are reinforced with 2 x N10 reo steel bars*.

All Outback Sleepers Australia products are manufactured at our South Australian factory. To ensure they consistently meet our high standards of quality, we have our concrete batches independently tested twice per week.
