VULK is the culmination of more than 20 years of polished concrete experience, and a lifelong passion for helping architects and contractors turn their vision into reality. The business was born out of hands-on knowledge gained from years of working on large-scale concrete flooring projects for clients such as Orora, Target, Autobarn, DPTI (Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure – SA) and Lendlease. The company’s founder, David Shaughnessy, set out with a goal to provide tried and tested materials, tools, and systems to help flooring contractors get the right result – every time. We’ve designed revolutionary concrete protection and decorative treatments used by leading architectural and engineering firms across the commercial building industry; designed to maximise the aesthetic and functional benefits of polished concrete in any environment. Our curing and polished concrete products are preferred by residential architects and contractors too, with VULK products featured in a number of award-winning designs.
